THE COMMUNICATION
CONNECTION:
GETTING IT RIGHT
Understanding yourself is the key to understanding and interacting with others. This is the premise of the DiSC Personality Profiling seminar.
An innovative approach to behavioural insight, DiSC not only uncovers unique personality traits of those profiled, but also gives practical solutions for interacting with different behavioural styles effectively.
Using a behavioural assessment survey improves team communication whether you are in the same room or 3,000 miles apart. It allows individuals to “read” behavioural cues of their team members, customers, and stakeholders.
Understanding and responding to these behavioural cues can assist you in improving and opening up communication, as well as enhancing overall group dynamics, thereby increasing productivity levels. In this session, your awareness of the relationship between individual behaviour styles and the team performance will be increased.
At the end of the session, the participants will be able to:
- Determine the goals of the DiSC behavioural profile
- Identify the characteristics of each behavioural style
- Describe the strengths and challenges each style brings to the team
- Share strategies for communicating more effectively with individual team members and customers
- Identify three key questions you can use to recognize people’s styles
- Develop strategies for adapting your behaviour to others
- Describe the importance of listening
- Develop skills to give constructive feedback
